An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Paralegal Liverpool to join the Civil Actions against the Police Department. This is a permanent, full-time role salary with a salary of £20k-£30k. The Litigation Paralegal Liverpool role is being sought for a successful and established law firm in Liverpool city centre.

Role responsibilities

The role involves dealing with a caseload of files concerning PACE 1984, Unlawful Detainment, Malicious Prosecution, Misfeasance in Public Office and applicable Human Rights Law.

The role requires the successful candidate to deal with issuing Part 7 cases, dealing with fast/multi-track directions, drafting witness statements and preparing trial bundles.

You must be capable of dealing with around 100 files autonomously.

Person specification

At least 2 years’ experience in Civil Litigation – Claimant or Defendant background is required.

You must be able to display good understanding of the Police complaints and IPCC/IOPC process.

Experience in Part 7 cases is ESSENTIAL.

Rewards

The salary is £20,000-£30,000. The role is for a specialist firm in personal injury and is well-established in the Merseyside area.
